For the past dozen years, Chris have served various roles in network IT support. Starting with Ciber Network Services, he has supported networks for large and small corporate clients, mostly in the pharmaceutical, biotech and venture capital industries.
Most recently, Chris served in the capacity of network administrator for a large international chemical company. His responsibilities included supporting four sites on two continents, two on each coast of the U.S. and two sites in the U.K. He was responsible for 400 users and all network applications.
Highlights of Chris' IT work include three major network migrations, one physical company move, completely moving an entire network from one physical location to another in one weekend, and designing and implementing entire network architecture prior to the move. He completely rebuilt this network three times with no user downtime or lost data.
Chris also has experience in Voice over IP (VoIP) implementation, and he has installed, configured and migrated arcane and expensive Centrex systems to VoIP, saving the company $150,000 per year, with no downtime.
